Thirty-four years after the first generation 6 Series was released, BMW has just taken the wraps off the new generation luxury sports convertible. The new BMW 6 Series Convertible fulfills the wishes of discerning automotive aesthetes with its finely honed sense for sporty driving pleasure, groundbreaking luxury and sparkling looks.

The latest 6 Series is fitted with the newest BMW technologies to deliver maximum sportiness, comfort, entertainment, driver safety, and efficiency. From its twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter 8-cylinder engine that effortlessly propels the car to 100 km/h in a mere five seconds, to the adjustable suspension and steering settings, and to the interior technologies, the new 6 Series is a technological marvel.

The 650i Convertible is fitted with BMW’s twin-turbo V8, producing 400 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque, coupled to a quick and efficient 8-speed Sports automatic gearbox. The car also hosts several BMW EfficientDynamics technologies, like weight-saving materials and construction techniques, and Brake Energy Regeneration. To deliver on BMW’s promise to building the Ultimate Driving Machine, the 650i Convertible is fitted, in standard form, with Drive Dynamic Control, which allows drivers to fine-tune the car’s suspension to give a comfortable, or ultra-sporty drive.

Inside, touches like the optional Exclusive Nappa leather that is extended from the instrument panel to line the centre console and the upper areas of the door and side trim provide a cozy space. A further option offers contrast stitching for the interior elements lined in Exclusive Nappa leather. This double stitching in a colour that contrasts with the leather surface adds a particularly premium, contour-enhancing accent.
